Torch Relay reporter Chris Wheeler ventures into the past in the historic Gold Rush town of Barkerville, where he meets up with some colourful locals. He reconnects with the Olympic Flame in the Celebration Community of Quesnel.

Wheeler's journey then takes him from the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast region to Northern British Columbia where he learns to dog sled in Prince George!
